Property Ownership
Properties can be purchased that are privately owned and can be used for personal use as a holiday home or for private self-catering holiday rental. These apartments are sold furnished. The apartments are resale properties and therefore have been used previously by the owner.
All new owners are legally obligated to pay the Condominium Fees (called the Resort Management Fee in Tortuga) and the annual IUP property tax (paid to the local Municipality).
